Van Gogh’s Starry Night Replaces the Moon with the Star Wars Death

Artist Vincent van Gogh is most famous for his whirlwind blue-toned painting, Starry Night. Etsy shop owner ‘BelligerentMonkey’ cleverly spoofs the famous piece of artwork by replacing the golden moon in the top right-hand corner with the famous Star Wars Death Star.
This sci-fi art mash-up is a creative modernization of the famous Starry Night painting. The glittering golden moon was ingeniously Photoshopped out of the painting using Illustrator and replaced with a Star Wars Death Star. To make the Death Star fit into the painting’s style, it has been drawn in using van Gogh’s famous swirl-style in different, alluring gray shades. The rest of the painting remains identical to the original.
Who knows -- perhaps hundreds of years from now, our beloved moon will actually be replaced with a Death Star.
