The ValveVR Knuckle Controllers Feature Ergonomic Designs and New Sensors

The Valve VR knuckle controllers offer up an intelligent and nuanced design that allows for comfortable and intuitive control. The Oculus' Touch Controllers are generally accepted as the best controllers in VR at the moment, but Valve's newest offering aims to dethrone Oculus with better ergonomics and a new button layout. The Valve VR knuckle controllers will also include new sensors which add support for SteamVR tracking 2.0 and enable finger tracking.

These sensors and improved support for SteamVR tracking 2.0 give the user the controllers the ability to detect a wide range of hand positions. This improved tracking allows for more nuanced control with objects in virtual reality, giving users the ability to squeeze items, pick them up and gently handle them without letting go of the controller.
