Star Wars: Vader Immortal Will be a Premier VR Star Wars Experience

Announced at Oculus' Connect Conference, Vader Immortal is a new three-part VR series set in the expansive Star Wars universe. Developed by Industrial Light & Magic’s xLab team and writer David S. Goyer, the VR series thrusts players into the world of Star Wars in a way that has never been explored before. While other VR Star Wars experiences have existed, Vade Immortal is a much larger and expansive experience with intricate narrative storytelling.

While a teaser for Vader Immortal was shown at the VR conference, Oculus and Industrial Light & Magic have been fairly secretive about the project. However, some information has been given. The VR experience will launch alongside the Oculus Quest headset in 2019 and the story will take place some time prior to Episode IV.
