To help more Alexa users throughout the United States ensure they get their COVID-19 vaccines as soon as they're available, Amazon announced a new vaccination-finding feature, which allows users to simply ask their smart assistant where they can get theirs.
To activate the feature, all users need to do is say "where can I get a COVID vaccine" to their smart assistant while they have their location turned on. For more results, users can specify a particular city, or even ask Alexa to call a vaccine site so that they can ask more in-depth questions. To help curb the misinformation around vaccines, Alexa will also answer general questions about the topic, and has the ability to share vaccine availability and eligibility in over 85 countries.
