These utensil designs by Haas Brothers truly bring a strong sculptural aspect to tableware. The Los Angeles-based duo was commissioned by renowned art collector George Lindermann Jr. With a total of 144 knives, forks and spoons, the collection definitely challenges the notions of traditional approaches.
Haas Brothers present the utensil designs with paw-shaped ends. When placed in their accompanying sculptural base, the intricately unconventional designs appear as if they are attempting to escape. The storage unit bears a wooden top and animalistic brass legs. In addition, Haas Brothers also intend to convey some beast-like sensibilities through the utensil designs.
