The USB heated mittens definitely make working in cold offices a little more bearable.
Whether at work or at home, it's hard to type or do anything with frozen fingers. While some gloves keep your hands quite warm, they are relatively chunky and make it harder to type. Japanese electronics company Thanko's USB heated mittens come with a removable heat pad that is activated by plugging in the USB cord. By doing so, the glove, which is thinner than regular ones, serves as an insulator for the radiating heat pack. So far, this design is made for girls' hand sizes, but men with smaller hands can give it a shot.
Unfortunately, users will literally be chained to their desk since the gloves cannot heat up without the USB. Just be careful not to yank the computer with you when you accidentally walk away.
