Nike unveils a closer look at the iconic U.S. Open outfit worn by Serena Williams as the six-time tournament champion garnered attention with the diamond-studded look. The tennis outfit was designed with inspiration from competition dresses that are worn by figure skaters.
It is made up of a bodice and skirt that are adorned with sparkling embellishments as the skirt is made with six layers. This is a nod to her six wings at Flushing Meadows as the upper section is detailed with crystals. The highlighting touch of the entire look is the custom-made NikeCourt Flare 2 sneakers. The medial side of the shoe is detailed with her initials and the lateral side is detailed with a diamond Swoosh emblem.
