The Pod Mostom Hangout Space is a Thriving Urban Regeneration Project

Hanging out under the old, abandoned bridge in Kosice, Slovakiamay not sound have been all that exciting, but that was before the Pod Mostom urban regeneration project took hold.

Put into effect by Atrium Studio and Esterni design group, the Pod Mostom project, translating to mean open space, has transformed a once useless public area into a thriving cultural center. A creative construction installation, along with other exciting features such as a skating ramp, amphitheater, stage, projection screens and cafe/bar area allow for fun social interactions in a cool and unusual setting.

Because of this successful urban regeneration project, the bridge has become a place where people can participate in everything from casual hangouts while sipping drinks to having a blast watching lively concerts and performances.
