There's a brand-new app from adidas called Confirmed and it's designed to keep users up-to-date on the newest stories and releases—and to get people excited about using the app, adidas is sharing upcycled furniture designs made from vintage adidas apparel.
10 pieces of furniture have been created from pre-existing garments sourced from warehouses, different countries and other sources. For the project, adidas got designer Darren Romanelli, also known as DRx, working with the co-founder of vintage brand Round Two, Sean Wotherspoon. As part of the collection, windbreakers, sweatshirts, shorts and other adidas designs have been turned into lounge chairs and love seats. For a limited time, these custom upcycled pieces are being given away to those who download the new adidas Confirmed app.
