Slender Concrete Condos

The Unitt Urban Living Tower is Slim and Practical

The Unitt Urban Living tower was developed by Basiches Arquitetos Associados, and it takes on a slender look. According to DesignBoom, "to break the monotony, voids have been cut between the two main volumes to enable the implementation of terraces in the sky where multiple residents can enjoy fresh air amongst the fabric of the city."

Overall the design is quite straightforward, but it's slim look is what makes this building so distinct. That, along with the fact that the roof is sectioned in two, with one half being lower than the other. Most apartment buildings are rectangular in shape, and the top sections tend to take on a united and flat aesthetic instead of anything fancy.
