United Breweries Unveils a New Kingfisher Flavours Brand

United Breweries (UB) has officially launched Kingfisher Flavours, aiming to attract young, Gen Z consumers who desire new options in the alcoholic beverage market. This product aligns with Gen Z's desire for sweeter, unique tastes that reimagine or recontextualize traditional flavors seen on the market. The Kingfisher Flavours currently have Lemon Masala and Mango Berry Twist variants. The company also has plans to roll out a marketing scheme to specifically target Gen Z consumers.

"Flavours are a global trend, with around 12% of the beer category's growth coming from flavoured variants," says Vikram Bahl, chief marketing officer at United Breweries. "We're seeing this shift in India too, especially among Gen Z consumers who enjoy experimenting with new products, particularly in the alco-bev category."
