Food Standards Scotland recently released a humorous PSA warning consumers about the very real dangers of consuming undercooked chicken. With summer in full swing, the ad addresses one of the main issues that crops up during BBQ season.

The ad was created as part of a partnership between Food Standards Scotland, the media agency Republic of Media and the advertising company Adludio. In the ad, a human-sized pink chicken is seen running around the beach kicking sandcastles, stealing frisbees and even knocking ice cream cones out of people's hands. In addition to the full-length video, the creative team also developed a mobile PSA that allows viewers to interact with the ad. This interactive aspects allows viewers to click different parts of the video to learn more about the dangers of consuming undercooked chicken.

The interactive ad demonstrates how brands can better engage with consumers when it comes to delivering important messages about health and safety.
