The Ululi-Ulula Collection looks as though it were made up of crafty representations of the classic globe. Spherical with land masses mapped out, it nevertheless has a do-it-yourself vintage feel that has nothing to do with the actual age of the designs. Instead, the Ululi-Ulula Collection makes use of painted fiberglass and lace inserts to achieve its unique appeal.
Designed by Matteo Ugolini for Italian manufacturer Karman, the Ululi-Ulula Collection is comprised of various sizes and can be suspended from the ceiling, rested on tabletops or even on the floor. It even comes in two finishes: bronze or silver. Although the designs present throughout the Ululi-Ulula Collection clearly look like the earth, it is written on the Karman website, "We give you the Moon: inspiring art, projects and dreams…."
