Steelcase Launches Ergonomic Mesh Chair Steelcase Karman

Steelcase has released its latest ergonomic mesh office chair called the Steelcase Karman. Mark Spoelhof, design director for Steelcase, said: "Comfort is built into every aspect of Steelcase Karman – it's reactive to each body type and posture and adapts to all the different ways in which we might sit in a chair so you're not aware of it, but it moves with you continually."
The Steelcase Karman is inspired by the Kármán Line, in which the earth's atmosphere meets space and weightlessness becomes possible. The office chairs utilize new technologies and materials such as proprietary performance textile Intermix, which is developed through a weaving process that includes yarns and filaments into the weave. The chair is in different styles in black, white, and gray colorways, from monochromatic modern to residential luxury. The Steelcase Karman is available for purchase.
