Lickable Breathalyzer Cards

This Uber Driving Campaign Reveals If a Bar-Goer Has Overindulged

As part of a safe Uber driving campaign, Alibi Bar teamed up with the ridesharing company to ask bar-goers: "DRIVE OR UBER?" Considering that this is a question that can be a challenge to answer when alcohol is involved, Alibi Bar and Uber teamed up to make the answer very easy.

The two companies developed a breathalyzer that's no bigger than a business card that can be licked in order to collect a swab of saliva. These strips effectively work as a blood alcohol test and change colors to indicate whether a person is equipped to safely drive home themselves or if they should be catching a quick ride with Uber.

In an effort to deter drinking and driving, breathalyzers are being designed with fun forms like bike locks or vuvuzelas to be used at sporting events.
