Organically Tilting Furniture

The 'Twin Shelves' are Inspired by Voronoi's Tessellation

You may not know what tessellation means, but that is what the Twin Shelves are based on. In layman's terms, tessellation is a collection of shapes that meld together seamlessly like honeycombs, creating a beautiful mosaic, so to speak.

Chilean design studio gt2P used an algorithm to determine the inner subdivisions of the Twin Shelves so that they form tessellations. The result is uniquely beautiful.
