Korean artist, Osang Gwon, begins his remarkable artworks by making plaster sculptures of people in motion. Next he takes thousands of photos of his subjects and covers the life-sized sculptures with them, producing truly unique and surreal pieces.
His photo mosaic scultpures resemble their human inspirations in image, size, and shape.
As a side note, the band, Keane, recently had their “likenesses†done for the cover of their new album, Perfect Symmetry.
Implications - XX
With a title like Perfect Symmetry you can bet this band's album is nothing short of perfection. IN fact, these photo mosaic statues are actually a reflection of just how talented the band Keane really is. Korean artist, Osang Gwon and Keane seem like the perfect collaboration.
