Electric bicycles are a fast and energy efficient way to get around the city, and Specialized Bicycles' new 'Turbo Vado 5.0' gives commuters those electric benefits while disguising the bicycle as a typically two-wheeled ride. The slim, lightweight bicycle is indeed electrically powered, but its motor and battery are hidden within the frame itself, so it looks far more like a road or racing bicycle than it does an e-bike.

The Turbo Vado 5.0 packs an impressive amount of powerful for such a graceful design. It integrates a 350-watt motor and a battery with 604 watt-hours. This means that the bike can reach about 28 miles per hour with pedal assist, and it has an estimated maximum range of 80 miles.
