adidas and TrusTrace Created a Platform to Verify Eco Claims

adidas has partnered with 'TrusTrace,' the Stockholm-based software-as-a-service platform, to create a service that verifies the sustainability claims from businesses. The service, titled 'TrusTrace Certified Material Compliance,' was created through a combination of AI, IoT, traditional software, and blockchain services. With this service, TrusTrace can verify the legitimate environmental impact of a product or company.

adidas will use the TrusTrace Certified Material Compliance service to verify the claims of its suppliers and partners throughout the entire supply chain. With this new advanced software, TrusTrace can monitor the emissions and waste caused by a specific product or material throughout its supply chain journey. This service will be beneficial for businesses, as truly sustainable businesses will receive a legitimate stamp of approval, while businesses with unsubstantiated claims can use the service to identify where the emissions are coming from.
