Paramount Pictures recently became the first company to create a 'trailer reaction lens' for the Snapchat platform. The 'trailer reaction lens' was created to promote the new 'Top Gun: Maverick' film, and it provides users with an AR filter that is able to record reactions to the trailer. Users are also able to add a pilot helmet to their trailer reaction and share the video with other users on the Snapchat platform.
Paramount Pictures released its 'trailer reaction lens' to users in the United States and Canada, and it will soon be released to the United Kingdom, France, Mexico and more.
Advertising on Snapchat will allow Paramount Pictures to market the movie to younger audiences. Additionally allowing users to send their reactions to others could organically build anticipation for the movie.
