City-Wide Design Celebrations

The Toronto Design Offsite Festival Fosters Urban Creativity

Appreciation for art and design has become such a prevalent force in modern societies that events like the Toronto Design Offsite Festival (TO DO) are able to flourish. A city-wide celebration of all things creative, it is a week-long event that allows like-minded individuals to share ideas and engage in dialogue about design, all the while focusing on emerging practices and new work in the great city of Toronto.

Taking place in late January, the Toronto Design Offsite Festival will showcase everything from industrial design and site-specific installations to architecture and graphic design. Yet in an effort to strengthen and expand the festival, it is currently campaigning on Indiegogo to raise funds. Considering that the events are free, a small (or large) contribution is a great way to show support for such efforts.

As the Toronto Design Offsite Festival puts it, "Our goal is to place Toronto on the map, alongside other major city-based art and design festivals in the world, and that's why we need your help."
