After the founder Blake Mycoskie and a small team traveled to Nepal, he was shocked at the lack of basic necessities that were available to the communities. This inspired him to start the TOMS One by One Campaign. The main focus is to help the visually impaired who live in areas that lack the support they need to function. Purchase a pair of sunglasses from the collection and you’ll be providing treatment for one person. Whether it’s surgery, medical treatment or proper prescription glasses, your purchase will be providing help to those who need it the most.

As for the designs, there a variety of styles with the words “One by One” embedded on the arm. These are now available for purchase.
