The new Time Distilled is a glassware collection designed by Maximilian Eicke of Max ID NY in collaboration with Great Jones Distilling Co., translating New York City’s cocktail history into sculptural drinkware. The project references the Manhattan cocktail as both a cultural artifact and a symbol of the city’s distilling legacy, tying each piece to place, material, and ritual.
The collection includes three handblown glasses produced in Brooklyn by Keep Brooklyn, keeping fabrication local to the concept’s origins. The Manhattan Hourglass features a copper-toned base inspired by whiskey stills, while Cherry State of Mind visually suspends a cocktail garnish within the glass form. Manhattan Beacon adopts a faceted silhouette that echoes New York’s architectural landscape. Each object is designed to function as usable barware while also serving as a display piece.
