The need for efficient vehicle designs is seeing new options entering the market like the Thomas Built Buses Jouley electric school bus that will effectively cut diesel emissions around educational institutions. The bus was debuted by the brand at the National Association of Pupil Transportation in Ohio and features a 100 mile range that can be extended by adding in more battery packs as required to perform pick ups and drop offs.

The Thomas Built Buses Jouley electric school bus would eliminate the presence of diesel emissions around schools, which is vital for the health of students as well as the environment. The buses are set to begin being produced starting in 2019, which could see the traditional diesel-powered fleets disappearing from streets nationwide very soon.
