The Turner Light is made in Italy by the Swedish duo Broberg & Ridderstrale. The designers created the sculptural pendant for the lighting brand Pholc. Resembling a cocoon, the handcrafted pendant light "retains a pleasing quality of fragility and lightness akin to rice paper," according to the designers.
The airy pendant light is delicately designed and sprayed with polymer to strengthen its structure. Due to its lightness, the pendant adds a sense of freshness to the modern home. The handmade process is reminiscent of traditional design techniques used in the 1940s. Turner's warm elegance is enhanced with its white color. Available in two sizes, consumers can choose to hang the pendant on its own or combine it with others into a larger constellation.
