Katerina Kopytina is a designer based in San Francisco and she has just unveiled the Light Bean. This is a debut product from her studio and it is a pendant rooted in the idea of material honesty and restraint. All of the products are made by hand from American oak materials. This means that the natural grain of the wood serves as the highlight before it is paired with the large sculptural globe feature.
The cord adds a playful contrast to the box and it comes in a range of colors inspired by Northern California. The options make it endless to customize and create to suit any space. The seven colors include ' Soft Linen, Black Obsidian, Yellow Superbloom, Pine Forest, Coral Bay, and Golden Gate Red. Three bulb options open up a new variant of style – Cloud, Bubble, and Dusk.'
