Many retailers recognize that technology will be a staple of the store of the future. While many shops now feature interactive displays, RFID tagging and dynamic products walls, the this mobile pop-up concept in Chicago shows how all these elements can be used seamlessly together.
The pop-up shop was realized by retail technology company 'with.me' in collaboration with one-for-one shoe brand TOMS apparel company Raven + Lily. The next-generation concept store features a wall made up of digital cubes, which are all individually programmed to create a dynamic display, reactive tables with touch technology and interactive mirrors.
In addition to these high-tech features, one of the most interesting details in the space are the fitting room dividers, which drop down from the ceiling in order to offer privacy to consumers who wish to try on articles.
