The National Health Service UK is going to launch a unique hi-tech pill that will remind patients when they need to take their meds.
The system is known as 'The Raisin,' with pills integrated with edible microchips and a shoulder patch to receive information worn by the patient. The patch monitors when pills are swallowed and notifies the patient when they forget to take the medication. Technologically unique, 'The Raisin' may very well revolutionize the medicinal aspect of patient care.
