Organ Donor Fashion Boutiques

The Exchange Trades Clothing for Organ Donor Pledges

The Exchange is a pop-up fashion boutique located in South Africa's Cape Town that does business using organs, not money. Although this may sound like a sinister way of doing things, the reality of the situation is anything but. The Exchange was brought to life by South African creative agency NATIVE. Its aim is to get people to register as organ donors.

Those interested in purchasing items from the store must first register as an organ donor with the Organ Donor Foundation of SA. According to foundation, each person who registers as a donor can potentially save up to seven lives. The store has 500 items in it, so it could potentially save the lives of up to 3,500 people if everything gets purchased.
