Target's "Next-Generation" concept store in Texas features two different doors, for two different kinds of shoppers.
In an effort to streamline everybody's holiday shopping experience, the retailer has introduced separate sides of the store that cater to "both busy and not-so-busy shoppers." The distinct entrance ways both offer unique experiences to the consumer, whether they're willing to browse, or interested in a grab-and-go type setup. The 'ease' entrance, focuses on necessities like groceries, home supplies and pre-made dinners. The 'inspiration' entrance enables shoppers to take their time through a more high-end department store lay-out, which promotes leisurely browsing.
