Take a Yoga Break by Suzan Colon Encourages a Healthier Work Life

People might be more aware of the dangers of sitting down all day at work, but combating it is something else entirely; enter the Take a Yoga Break app. It is an illustrated app that shows people easy ways to get up out of their office chair and stretch out their bodies without actually rolling out a mat and putting on fitness gear.

Created by Suzan Colón, the Take a Yoga Break app sets itself apart from other similar fitness apps in that it reminds people when to stop and stand up for even a moment. She shares, "During a marathon writing session back in May, I promised myself I’d get up hourly and do a yoga pose, but I’d be in the zone and forget. I thought, There should be an app that reminds you to get up and shows you an easy yoga pose to do at your desk."
