Swizzels Biscuits Come in Three Familiar Flavors

— May 28, 2026 — Lifestyle
Swizzels biscuits have been developed by Baleigh in the UK thanks to a partnership with the classic candy brand to offer consumers an alternative way to enjoy some familiar flavor experiences. The product range consists of biscuit varieties inspired by some of the most recognizable candies from Swizzels, while also featuring their classic branding to help catch the attention of shoppers. The product range features three options including Squashies Cherry & Apple Cream Biscuits, Squashies Raspberry & Milk Cream Biscuits and Love Hearts Orange Creams.

Swizzels biscuits are arriving now at Morrisons for £1 per pack and will roll out to additional retailers starting in September. The product range speaks to a wider embrace of remixed food items that deliver familiar flavors in new formats.

Trend Themes

  1. Flavor Remixing — Blending iconic candy tastes into new food formats creates opportunities for unexpected sensory pairings that attract both nostalgic and novelty-seeking consumers.
  2. Co-branded Nostalgia Products — Leveraging well-known confectionery branding on adjacent product categories amplifies emotional connection and shelf impact among shoppers familiar with legacy candy names.
  3. Snack Format Hybridization — Emergence of hybrid snacks that combine biscuit textures with candy flavor profiles signals demand for cross-category innovations that redefine traditional snack boundaries.

Industry Implications

  1. Confectionery — Established candy makers stand to benefit from licensing or extending their flavor IP into bakery and biscuit formats to diversify revenue streams and consumer touchpoints.
  2. Retail Grocery — Supermarket chains could capitalize on shelf-ready nostalgia items by curating limited-run, co-branded SKUs that drive impulse purchases and foot traffic.
  3. Food Manufacturing — Contract food manufacturers with flexible production lines are positioned to support rapid small-batch runs of remixed products marrying confectionery flavors with baked goods.
