Sweetgreen 3.0 Introduces a New Concept with "Concierge Ordering"

At Park Avenue at 32nd Street in New York City, there's a new Sweetgreen concept called 'Sweetgreen 3.0' that introduces a new experience and what the eatery calls "concierge ordering." While those who frequent Sweetgreen are familiar with seeing their salads made before their eyes as part of an assembly line, the new experience of eating at Sweetgreen begins with placing an order with a staffer who stands at a wooden podium equipped with a tablet. Once a customer's order has been taken, sent to the kitchen and prepared, a customer's name appears on a screen, indicating that their order is ready for pickup.

The experimental locations also includes site-specific menu items, plus a shop that sells items like cookbooks and hot sauce.
