Sweet Victory is Formulated to Stop Sugar Cravings

Israeli start-up Sweet Victory created a line of botanical-infused chewing gums that are designed to stop cravings for sugary treats. The proprietary chewing gum is fast-acting and in a matter of two minutes, it blocks sugar receptors on the tongue for an effect that lasts up to two hours. As the start-up describes, "During that time, sweet foods or beverages that normally excite the senses will taste bland or even sour, and the impulse for a sweets binge can be abated, lasting even longer than the physical effect."

The ancient Indian botanical gymnema is a 100% natural plant leaf extract and it is known for its effect on glucose metabolism and it is a key component in the botanically infused chewing gums. These products can be found in varieties like peppermint and ginger-lemon.
