This winter, Pieology Pizzeria is giving consumers a new high-quality meat topping and a new Sweet & Smoky BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza.
According to GSR Magazine, "Pulled pork is the second-fastest growing protein topping for pizza nationwide" and is a " hot and on-trend item not often found in fast casual pizza." With that in mind, Pieology created a Sweet & Smoky BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza that puts the tender meat front and center. The new pizza consists of Hand-Shredded Pulled Pork, red onions, cilantro, and a drizzle of Pieology’s tangy BBQ After-Bake sauce. In other words, it's a delicious mash-up of two of America's favorite dishes—pizza and barbeque.
For those who want a more customizable option, Pieology is also offering its Hand-Shredded Pulled Pork as a possible pizza topper for a limited time.
