Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is celebrating the official start of fall with the launch of its new Sweet Potato Marshmallow Brulee.
Inspired by the classic Thanksgiving side dish, the new Sweet Potato Marshmallow Brulee combines the delicious taste of roasted sweet potatoes with the sweetness of marshmallows. More specifically, the new ice cream starts with fresh sweet potatoes that are roasted until golden and caramelized. The potatoes are then blended with Vietnamese cinnamon, nutmeg, grass-grazed milk, and cream to give the ice cream its creamy texture. Then, marshmallow ice cream is swirled in, along with notes of vanilla. Lastly, the mixture is studded with burnt sugar pieces for that Crème brûlée flavor.
