The Sweden & Coffee Set Combines Traditional Design and Contemporary Taste

One might not be surprised to come across something resembling the Sweden & Coffee set in an antique shop: the collection looks like it's made up of well-crafted relics of the 1970s. An appreciation for vintage design, in combination with the use of modern materials, has produced a French press and a pair of espresso cups.

Reino Björk is responsible for the creation of the exquisite blown glass pieces that make up the beverage-holding vessels. Designer Raúl Arribas dreamed up the swish look of the culinary items and paired them with pedestals made from cork. The percolator has been given a lid of spongy bark material as well, sealing in the heat and moisture of the java. The Sweden & Coffee demitasses are augmented in size by these stands, establishing a grander presence.
