This series of sun-filled images makes sunlight the muse.
Using sunlight as the focus of this 'Visible Light' series, photographer Alexander Harding is able to capture the warm yellow rays in a stunning and almost ethereal way.
As photographers know, the most important aspect of getting the perfect photo is utilizing light to your advantage. Harding was able to do so perfectly by manipulating natural sunlight and refracting it to get the sun-filled images seen in this series.
"Through my work I explore the sun’s physical presence and quantitative character, attempting to give sunlight an environment to travel within and record its behaviors. I primarily use photography to make my work as its apparatus promotes a very critical and literal type of visual perception and it is processes are controlled by light itself," says Harding.
