Though small, size is an integral part of the charm behind Studio PIKAPLUS's 'The Wooden House.' The quaint Slovenian cottage sits in a valley among the hills of Kanji Dol, a rural municipality in the Balkan nation, and its design mimics the surrounding environment while adding a cute flair.

Part of the attractive personality of Studio PIKAPLUS's cottage is in its unique, cartoonish design. The cottage has a gabled roof, but the walls that descend from that roof don't fall straight to the ground. Instead, the walls angle inward, giving the cottage a plump appearance. This design also creates unique room shapes on the interior of the cottage, with oddly angled walls that contribute to cozy environs.
