Located in a space directly under a campus coffeehouse, this vibrant student center in Tel Aviv serves as a place for students to relax, mingle and take a break from their studies. The timber-clad spcae features plenty of seating options, from high tables with bar stools to comfy, worn-in leather couches.
The space, mostly used by students to rest up in between classes, is a great example of multiuse facilities that are also arguably placemaking initiatives. By creating a safe place for students to interact among peers, the university is investing in the community aspect of the school experience as well as creating a place in which students can feel they belong.
This stunning student center was designed by Israeli design firm Studio Yaron Tal.
