The Hillary for America campaign is targeting Millennial and Gen Z votes with its new 'Stop Trump' Snapchat filter. The geofilter can be used in downtown Cleveland, which is where the Republican National Convention is being held. The filter features police caution tape that reads 'Stop Trump' continuously.
There is a second attack campaign filter available in Cleveland that features a rotating series of critical quotes from notable GOP (Republican) figures, such as John Kasich, who is the Republican Governor of Ohio. The two filters are aiming to drum up anti-Trump sentiment as the RNC is taking place. The Hillary for America campaign has been the most active about using Snapchat to engage voters throughout the 2016 presidential election race. Engaging with Millennials will be important for the candidates come November since they are now the largest voting age group in the US.
