Insurance app 'Back Me Up' is launching the first-ever 'Stolen Goods Shop' in the UK, which will serve as a pop-up that brings awareness to some of the most commonly stolen items.
The London pop-up will feature an assortment of items that have been turned into the police and sourced from police auctions, including everything from laptops and jewelry to bikes. As the pop-up does function as a shop, members of the public will be able to purchase any of the items on display, with all of the acquired proceeds being shared among charities like Mind, The Prince’s Trust and Shelter.
As well as doing a solid amount of social good, the Stolen Good Shop will make it easy for people to identify the valuables that they should be caring the most for in their own lives.
