A Stefan Sagmeister x götti Switzerland collaboration has resulted in the creation of a unique pair of glasses called Frida. Inspired by artist Frida Kahlo, the limited-edition glasses have photochromatic lenses, anti-reflective coating and most noticeably, a "monobrow."
With the designer glasses, customers receive a signed certificate, a booklet, a cleaning cloth and an eyewear case designed by Stefan Sagmeister. The packaging for the product features the work of Filipino graphic designer Raxenne Maniquiz, which also includes playful typographic details that recall the artist's signature unibrow.
There are a handful of artists that have become well-known for unique features of their own, and with these glasses, people can experience a slice of Kahlo's iconic style.
