Millennial Employment Apps

This New App Will Help Recent Graduates Find Start-up Jobs

'Planted' is launching a new iOS app that will help Millennials find start-up jobs in their desired field. With nearly half of recent college graduates underemployed or unemployed, Planted hopes that its new app will help candidates locate better job prospects.

The app operates by using data-driven algorithms and human curation to help non-technical job seekers find employment prospects. Planted monitors more than 100 different data signals from employers and candidates, including employee background and specific job preferences. Based on this information, the app will provide three to five personalized job prospects each day. As Planted co-founder Susan Zheng explains, "we see mobile as an opportunity to take the work out of finding work, and to transform the overwhelming black hole that is the job board experience."

Through the new app, non-technical Millennials will have a unique tool at their disposal for finding interesting and relevant startup jobs.
