A freelance designer and developer based in London, England, named Jack Lalley used the Starbucks coffee cups as the focus of his latest graphic design project.
Titled 'Starbucks X Spotify,' it imagines what the company's take-out beverages would look like if they were imprinted with lyrics from some of its consumer's favorite songs on the popular music service. The Starbucks coffee cups are colored vibrantly, with each song complemented by a different colorway. For example, Ariana Grande's 'Dangerous Women' is marked by bubblegum pink and blue, whereas Drake's 'Hotline Bling' is marked by varying hues of red.
Above the lyrics imprinted on the Starbucks coffee cups are the logos of both companies listed side-by-side, showing the imagined collaborative effort clearly. Although Jack Lalley has no affiliation with Starbucks or Spotify, his project shows what possibilities can amount by combining two of the most loved names by modern Millennials.
