Two of the most successful entities in the movie business are Pixar film studios and the 'Star Wars' franchise. Artist Sillof decided to do a Star Wars/Pixar mash-up by combining Pixars animated characters with George Lucas' crew from a galaxy far far away.

Some of the characters spawned from this project include Wall-D2, Wood Solo, E-VPO and Flick Skyhopper. My fav Star Wars/Pixar mash-up character has to be Buzz Fettyear.

Implications - Consumers enjoy pop culture fusions as it re-invigorates consumer interest in the franchises being referenced. Corporations may consider a similar collaboration and produce wares which feature distinct design elements from two high-profile companies.
