The past few months have seen many consumers skipping their daily trip to the cafe in favor of having coffee at home, which is something these St Pierre bakery products aim to help enhance. The product range includes a number of individually wrapped baked goods that are perfect for personal enjoyment from the comfort of home with some freshly brewed coffee. Consumers can choose from the Butter Croissants, Chocolate Filled Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Caramel Waffles, Millionaires Waffle and the Brioche Waffle.
Commercial Director at St Pierre Group Chris McLaughlin spoke on the St Pierre bakery products saying, "In-store bakery sales have declined, along with many other sectors, as a result of COVID. With heightened concerns around hygiene, our retail partners are asking for individually-wrapped morning goods and specifically, croissants. Conversations with our customers gave us the insight to bring new products to market that deliver what customers are looking for. Consumption habits have changed; people are less likely to head to the café for their usual morning fix. Those occasions have moved elsewhere, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t help people recreate the café culture they love, at home."
