Squarespace Will Now Allow Users to Upload Video Content

The Squarespace video playback tool has been remodeled on the popular site-building platform for smoother playback, easier support, and better integrations. In addition to this, Squarespace has announced that it will now allow users to upload their own videos and lock these videos behind a paywall.
The paywall will be similar to those used on other video hosting sites, such as Patreon or YouTube, where an additional fee can be paid to see exclusive content from your favorite creators. These paywalls can be set on a per-video or recurring subscription basis. Free users of Squarespace will be able to upload up to 30 minutes of video content, while users will need to subscribe to Squarespace's basic or pro plans to be able to upload five and 50 hours of video content, respectively.
