Booze-Infused Marmalades

This Beer Company Has Created a Spreadable Beer to Add to Toast

Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn recently teamed up with Dundee to create a delicious form of spreadable beer. While drinking a beer with breakfast is largely frowned upon, there is now a more subtle way for consumers to enjoy the taste of their favorite brew in the early morning hours.

'Marm & Ale' is a spreadbale beer made for toast, crumpets and other breakfast dishes. The spread is a type of marmalade made from a combination of Innis & Gunn's oak-aged IPA and Dundee's marmalade. The boozy new condiment was created by adding beer to the marmalade mixture prior to boiling. This process gives the tangy orange-flavored spread hoppy notes that are reminiscent of a strong IPA.

The booze-infused marmalade gives consumers a delicious new option when it comes to dressing up their morning toast.
