This new app encourages spontaneous interaction between strangers waiting at the airport. WaitList is a newly established social network that wants users to make the most of their time waiting for flights.

It enables them to "easily identify valuable conversation partners" by showcasing the interests and skill sets of other participating travelers who have time for spontaneous interaction. When you match with other users, the German app points you to a nearby cafe so you can chat in person. This differentiates the social application from other stranger-connecting platforms as it leads to an in-person meeting. WaitList also focuses on more business-oriented conversations and information exchange, rather than romance or friendship. They see themselves as a virtual bulletin board for business cards.
